Idaho Friends of MAF
Is a
non-profit organization formed to support and
encourage missionary aviation around the world. Currently our projects
include funding the Idaho portion of the training all Missionary Aviation
Fellowship (MAF) pilots receive - learning techniques and practicing them on our
challenging mountain airstrips. Training costs average about
$20,000/year. IFMAF and MAF wishes to thank the State of Idaho for their
furnishing the Backcountry Air Strips that are used for this Pilot Training.
IFMAF has also procured and refurbished aircraft for MAF
to use on the Mission Field.
Our Mission
To fund the Mountain Flying training of MAF Pilots, and to represent MAF to
the people of the State of Idaho.
